Grant Applications

The purpose of the grant is to enable Parkinson’s patients to purchase equipment to improve their quality of life and inclusion into society with a positive ‘can - do’ attitude to life. The grant will enable patients to use equipment that they may otherwise not have been in a position to have. It is well known that adaptive equipment meets the needs of the individual to continue to lead a more inclusive lifestyle within society.

The individuals or their representatives making the application for the grant must demonstrate, on the application form, how the items or equipment that are purchased directly improve their quality of life.

• A maximum amount of £500 can be applied for once in their lifetime.

• Equipment excludes medical treatment or equipment that is not from a reputable, well known source.

• Exclusion criteria is applied at the discretion of the trustees.

• Grants are available to residents in England and Wales only.

• Successful applicants will be asked to submit a copy of the receipt, via email, to the charity trustees.
